Use of Throttle
Throttle provides commerce infrastructure, including checkout, payment orchestration, subscriptions, discounts, orders, webhooks, dashboard tools, APIs, and related services. You may use Throttle only in accordance with these terms, applicable documentation, and applicable law.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, API keys, workspace access, and connected provider credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that your team members have appropriate authorization.
Merchant responsibilities
You are responsible for your products, services, customers, order data, tax and shipping configuration, fulfillment, refunds, customer support, and compliance obligations. You are also responsible for maintaining your agreements with payment providers, including Stripe when you connect Stripe through Throttle.
Payment providers
Throttle helps configure and operate connections to third-party payment and commerce providers. Those providers are independent services governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party provider availability, decisions, fees, reserves, disputes, account actions, or processing outcomes.
Acceptable use
You may not use Throttle to violate law, infringe rights, abuse networks or systems, misrepresent your identity, process prohibited transactions, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or transmit malicious code.
Fees
Paid Throttle plans, usage-based charges, and billing terms are described in your order form, subscription, or pricing page. You authorize us or our payment processors to charge applicable fees and taxes. Fees paid are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
Data and privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. You grant us the rights needed to process data you submit to Throttle so we can provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.
Service changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Throttle as the product evolves. We will try to provide reasonable notice for material changes that negatively affect production use when practical.
Disclaimers
Throttle is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every business requirement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Better Interaction, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business interruption.
Termination
You may stop using Throttle at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, fail to pay applicable fees, or if required by law or provider requirements.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
