B2B quotes that become orders the moment they're accepted.
Build B2B quotes with revisions and optional lines, share a no-login link, take requests through RFQ forms, and turn acceptance into a paid or invoiced order.
From request to revenue without re-keying
A quote in Throttle isn’t a PDF that someone retypes into an order. It moves through a lifecycle the server enforces — requested, under review, proposed, accepted, converted — and when the buyer accepts, the order is created from the quote itself.
Build it, revise it
- Numbered quotes, with revisions that freeze each version once it’s issued, so you can always see what the buyer was shown.
- Optional lines buyers can add as upsells, and locked quantities where the number isn’t negotiable.
- Subscription lines, including custom installment schedules.
- Expiry, with reminders to the buyer 24 hours before and to your team 48 hours before, and the option to re-issue an expired quote.
A link the buyer can act on
Each quote has a share link that needs no login. The buyer can toggle optional lines, comment, ask for changes, decline, or accept — and the link can be rotated or served from your own domain. Branded emails follow each step, and a PDF records the acceptance.
Payment terms that are enforced, not suggested
| Terms | What happens on acceptance |
|---|---|
| Pay in full | The buyer pays by card |
| Net terms | The order is invoiced on the negotiated term — from Net-1 to Net-365 — which outranks the customer’s usual term |
| Deposit + balance | A card deposit is taken now and the balance is invoiced automatically into receivables |
A payment method the terms don’t allow simply isn’t accepted. See invoice terms & receivables.
Let buyers ask first
Request-for-quote forms are hosted for you and protected against spam with a honeypot, a minimum fill time, rate limits, and optional Cloudflare Turnstile. Buyers can also build a quote request from a cart on your storefront with the React package.
Good to know
- Net and deposit terms need the invoice-terms connector switched on.
- Quotes with subscription lines are card, pay-in-full only.
- Acceptance records the buyer’s name and email; it isn’t a legal e-signature.
- Line items come from your own product data — there’s no catalog search in the quote builder.
