What the integration will do

The ChatGPT app connects to the same MCP server that powers Throttle’s Claude integration, so you can ask ChatGPT about your store in plain English — orders and payments, customers, invoices and receivables, subscriptions and churn, abandoned carts, and why a checkout failed.

It gets the same tools and the same guardrails as Claude:

  • Read-only — it can look, not change.
  • Customer PII withheld — names, emails, phones, and street addresses stay out of the conversation.
  • Pinned to one workspace environment you pick when you connect, and revocable from the dashboard.

Availability

The connector is built and the server work is done; the ChatGPT app is going through OpenAI’s submission process. Get in touch to hear when it’s live. If you want an AI assistant on your Throttle data today, Claude is available now.
